Bone healing and non union after IM nailing of femur?

Do any one know how many months it takes for bone to union after segmental fracture and IM nailing. Do homeopathy medicine help in healing ?Bone healing and non union after IM nailing of femur?
depends on age, nutrition status, fracture pattern, kinetic energy of fracture... others.

basically, for a lower extremity fracture, 12 weeks is the ';book'; answer in a healthy adult. If an open fracture, infection concerns dramatically worsen outcomes, and on average, take longer to heal. Smoking is correlated with longer healing times.

homeopathy seems to have no effect on outcome, but very few studied scientifically. Certainly ';homeopathy'; does, eating well, not smoking...

Specific forms of non-union are described... hypertrophic, atrophic, infectious, ischemic.... these are patient specific and can be diagnosed at x-ray/mri, would need to talk to your surgeon (the one that put the nail in).
