Well I'm a guy so tips on the nails... your guess would be as good as mine. As far as tipping someone, most people think that you have to tip someone who does a job. This is a misconception because they are already getting a cut of what you paid for the services, the tip is only an incentive for them to do better each time and treat the customer as though they are your best friend. An example:

Some friends and I went to a Japanese restaurant where the cook serves you from the grill right onto your plate. While he is cooking, he is also performing for you. To make the long story short I paid close to $300 that night because I paid $20/plate of food plus a $15 tip because he did so well in entertaining us, asking us how we wanted our food as part of his show, making jokes, and serving a hot and delicious meal.

Now anytime we come into that restaurant he calls us over to his table to perform for us; other cooks will stop performing for you if they know you've seen the show before, but because we tip so well he does his thing and we enjoy it everytime!

Tip them what you think, if they do a good job pay a little more, if you go there regularly get to know one of the people who does your nails and ask for them everytime, if you tip well they will take good care of you and sometimes without having to say anything they will know what you need done and just start for you. Might even give you a discount here and there! How much tips should i give to the person who does my nails? im 14 years old. ?
If you're getting a minor manicure, I'd say 3 to 5 bucks. Depends on the job they did lol
